Deze vlag heet de “Progress Pride” vlag en deze is in 2018 ontworpen door Daniel Quasar. Hij ontwierp de vlag om nadruk te leggen op inclusie en vooruitgang.
De vlag bestaat uit de oorspronkelijke regenboogvlag, maar er zijn vijf nieuwe kleuren toegevoegd. De eerste drie kleuren van de vlag vertegenwoordigt de transgender gemeenschap en een zwarte en bruine streep om de LGBTIQ+’ers van kleur te vertegenwoordigen.
Quasar’s versie van de vlag bouwt voort op de Pride-vlag van 2017, “PHILADELPHIA PEOPLE OF COLOR INCLUSIVE VLAG”. In deze vlag is een bruine en zwarte streep opgenomen om zo zwarte mensen en mensen van kleur te vertegenwoordigen. Deze vijf kleuren zijn zo vormgegeven dat ze samen de kop van een pijl vormen. Dit representeert het concept van vooruitgang.
Discussie over welke kleuren en welke vlag het best past bij Pride blijft, dit mag ook. De ProgressPridevlag representeert de hele LGBTIQ+-community zonder uitzondering en is dus een symbool waar we allemaal trots op kunnen zijn!

This flag is called the “Progress Pride” flag and it was designed by Daniel Quasar in 2018. He designed the flag to emphasise inclusion and progress.
The flag consists of the original rainbow flag, but five new colours have been added. The first three colours of the flag represent the transgender community and a black and brown stripe to represent LGBTIQ+ people of colour.
Quasar’s version of the flag builds on the 2017 Pride flag, “PHILADELPHIA PEOPLE OF COLOR INCLUSIVE VLAG”. This flag incorporates a brown and black stripe to represent black people and people of colour. These five colours are shaped to form the head of an arrow. This represents the concept of progress.
Discussion on which colours and which flag best suits Pride remains, this is allowed. The ProgressPride flag represents the entire LGBTIQ+ community without exception, making it a symbol we can all be proud of!

Ce drapeau, appelé “Progress Pride”, a été conçu par Daniel Quasar en 2018. Il a conçu ce drapeau pour mettre l’accent sur l’inclusion et le progrès.
Le drapeau se compose du drapeau arc-en-ciel original, mais cinq nouvelles couleurs ont été ajoutées. Les trois premières couleurs du drapeau représentent la communauté transgenre et une bande noire et brune représente les personnes LGBTIQ+ de couleur.
La version du drapeau de Quasar s’inspire du drapeau de la Pride 2017, “PHILADELPHIA PEOPLE OF COLOR INCLUSIVE VLAG”. Ce drapeau incorpore une bande brune et noire pour représenter les personnes noires et les personnes de couleur. Ces cinq couleurs forment la tête d’une flèche. Cela représente le concept de progrès.
La discussion sur les couleurs et le drapeau qui conviennent le mieux à la Fierté reste ouverte. Le drapeau ProgressPride représente l’ensemble de la communauté LGBTIQ+ sans exception, ce qui en fait un symbole dont nous pouvons tous être fiers !
